My intensive review about the Fujibio HIV ½ Test Kit. [#MindYourHealthReviews]

The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that attacks our immune system dramatically. Sometimes, this virus is mistakenly compared to AIDS (Acute Immune Deficiency Syndrome). A simple comparison – HIV is virus while AIDS is a syndrome. But who comes first by the way? Well, like some other diseases caused by a virus or a bacteria, HIV can develop into AIDS.

Acquiring this kind of virus might be the worst nightmare we’ll ever encounter in our lives. In our society where people are judged easily by strangers, having HIV or AIDS sometimes leads to depression, suicides, and isolation – in a way that you move yourself away from the crowd. This is the sad reality we are facing now. Hence, early detection and treatment is the best thing we can do, aside from prevention, of course.

Speaking of early detection, there are several ways. You can either go to a government-specialized health unit which handles HIV and AIDS; or, you can have your self tested at home, in your own convenience and privacy. How? Read below.

Fujibio HIV 1/2 OneStep Device is the most accurate HIV test kit that you can do in the privacy of your own home. It detects the presence of antibodies from all HIV types which are HIV-1 and HIV-2 that are present in the blood with a remarkable 99.9% accuracy. This HIV Test Kit uses blood as a specimen. Latest research shows that an HIV test using blood as a specimen gives a more accurate results than an HIV test using saliva as a specimen. Fujibio HIV 1/2 One Step Device is clinically proven to detect HIV infection as early as 6 weeks post infection. Result is ready in just 10 minutes.

This device is available thru [https://hivtestkit.ph/shop/hiv-test-kit/]. I hear you asking about the price so here: Each kit costs 875.00 (free shipping).  It consists of the following:
þ Sterile HIV 1 / 2 Test Casette  x 1
þ Sterile HIV Buffer Solution x 1
þ Sterile Finger Prick Device x 1
þ Sterile Pipettor x 1
þ Alcohol prep pad x 1
þ Manual (Print)

Aside from affordable, this kit is also easy to use. Let me show you how:

Step 1: Check for the expiration date. Though it is VERY RARE to have an expired kit (because each kits goes thru a thorough quality check), still, it is good to check it first. Let’s have the assumption that an expired kit might affect the result. If expired, contact the manufacturer directly. But again, in my opinion, it is like 1% of a chance to have an expired kit from the manufacturer.

If not expired, you are good to go to step 2.

Step 2: Open the pouch containing the cassette, and pipette and lay it down at a clean, dry, and flat surface. Make sure to use it immediately used after you open it.

Step 3: Using the alcohol pad, disinfect the side of the index finger.

Step 4: Next thing to do is to press the finger prick device firmly against the side of the index finger. Press finger tip until an adequate amount of blood comes out.

Step 5: Now, using the pipette, draw at least a drop of blood and squeeze it to the sample well of the cassette.

Step 6: Squeeze a drop or two of the buffer solution into the sample well.

Step 7: Wait for 10-15 minutes for the result. Take note that results after 20 minutes is invalid. So you better have your timer with you.

Now for the result interpretation, please refer to the photo below:
What to do next?

If the device shows a NEGATIVE result after carefully following our HIV test kit user manual and it has been 3 months since you had a risk incident, you likely do not have HIV.

If the device shows a POSITIVE result, you will have to call their (https://hivtestkit.ph) team of counselors so they can provide more information on how to get confirmatory testing using western blot. They will also provide you with information on what to do at this point as well as resources to various HIV support groups near your area. Rest assured that calls are strictly confidential.

Healthy Eating Tip #5 – Fruits & Veggies

“Vegetables and fruits are essential ingredients in almost every cuisine. If you let them play starring roles in your diet, they will reward you with many benefits besides great taste, terrific textures, and welcome variety. A diet rich in fruits and vegetables will lower your blood pressure, decrease your chances of having a heart attack or stroke, help protect you against a variety of cancers, guard against constipation and other gastrointestinal problems, and limit your chances of developing age-related problems like cataracts and macular degeneration, the most common causes of vision loss among people over age sixty-five. I’ve plucked potatoes out of the vegetable category and put them in the “Use Sparingly” category because of the dramatic effects on levels of blood sugar and insulin.”

Self-sealing syringe prevents blood loss in hemophilic mice

Self-sealing syringe prevents blood loss in hemophilic mice

(Phys.org)—For people whose blood does not clot appropriately, such as those with hemophilia, diabetes, or cancer, getting an injection or blood draw with a hypodermic needle is not a trivial matter. Because the needle punctures the patient, this can result in continuous bleeding and risk of blood-borne infection. While researchers have looked at alternative methods, syringe injections are still the best method for rapid drug delivery. One solution could be a self-sealing syringe.

THE FACTS ABOUT HAND WASHING AND HAND HYGIENE

Image result for hand washing
In 1847, a Hungarian obstetrician by the name of Ignaz P. Semmelweiss showed that hand washing greatly reduced infections in newborns. Dr. Semmelweiss attempted to promote hand washing and cleanliness among his colleagues, who were so offended that they committed him to an insane asylum.
That was 150 years ago and times have changed. Semmelweiss’s claims have been proven true many times over, and it is now a well-known fact that indeed, hand washing greatly reduces the spread of disease. The importance of hand washing is preached to school children everywhere and 95% of people claim to practice proper hand hygiene.
